The
Fire Products Company warrants that each new Halogen
product will be free of defects in material and
workmanship for a period of two (2) years from
the date of purchase or delivery, which ever is
later, when the product has been properly installed
and operated under normal use and service.
The Fire
Products Company warrants that each new Light Emitting
Diode (LED) product will be free of defects in
material and workmanship for a period of five (5)
years from the date of purchase or delivery, which
ever is later, when the product has been properly
installed and operated under normal use and service.
During
the warranty period, the obligation of The Fire
Products Company is limited to the repair or replacement,
as Fire Products may elect, of any part or parts
of such product(s) which, after examination by
The Fire Products Co. or its authorized warranty
service center, discloses the product to be defective
in material and/or workmanship. All product(s)
returned for warranty examination must be shipped
freight prepaid. This warranty does not cover travel
expenses, the cost of specialized equipment for
gaining access to the product, or labor charges
for the removal and re-installation of the product.
An
invoice will be sent by the Fire Products Company
covering the cost of any and all replacement products
shipped to replace those product(s) believed by
the purchaser to be defective. After the product(s)
has been returned freight prepaid, examined, and
determined to be defective and under warranty by
The Fire Products Company or its authorized warranty
service center, a credit will be issued.
The use
of lamp(s) or other electrical load(s) of wattage
higher than installed or recommended by The Fire
Products Co., or use of inappropriate or inadequate
wiring or circuit protection voids this warranty.
This warranty does not extend to any product, which
has been subjected to abuse, misuse, improper installation,
or which has been inadequately maintained or has
been modified at any facility other than The Fire
Products Co. or an authorized warranty service
center. There is no warranty on light bulbs.
THERE
ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED,
INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES
OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE FIRE PRODUCTS COMPANY
BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR ANY DIRECT
OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF ANY SUCH
DEFECT IN MATERIAL OR WORKMANSHIP. |
